What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Contact forms
We collect details about you and/or your motorcycle to advise you or contact you to reply. We do not transmit or store this information with any third parties.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

How long we retain your data

Refunds
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, it is possible to return the item(s) for exchange or a refund. Items must be returned to us in saleable condition within 14 days of delivery with a copy of your receipt. Please read the Exchange and Return Process, which form part of these terms and conditions.
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receipt. We are commonly able to process refunds in five working days.
Please note that we are not able to refund or credit shipping charges. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Returns and exchanges process
As an alternative to using your rights under the distance selling regulations, you may prefer to return or exchange items using our Returns and Exchanges Process. We accept returns and exchanges on items returned to us in a saleable condition within 14 days of the day that you received the items.

In the case of exchanges, please explain what exchanges you wish to make, and provide your contact details should we need to seek clarification. We recommend that you contact us at info@riksbikeshop.co.uk in advance of making exchange so that we can advise you on suitable replacements.
